PRAY FOR THE MINISTERS OF THE GOSPEL.
Since we are one body in Christ and every grace of ministry released to individual members and ministry is to the benefit of the entire body.We should support those that God has put in places of reaching many souls to do what we cannot do in the level of the ministry we are in.Every ministry is unique,with unique,with unique identity,purpose,assignment,vision and objectivity in building the kingdom of God here on earth.
I Corinthians 12:14 Now the body is not made up of one part but many.15.If the foot should say,because I’m not a hand,I do not belong to the body,”it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body.16.And if the ear should say,”because I’m not an eye ,I do not belong to the body,”it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body.17.If the whole body were an eye ,where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear,where would the sense of smell be? 18.But in fact God Has arranged the part of the body,everyon of them,just as he wanted them to be.19.If they were all one part,where would the body be?20.As it is,there are many parts,but one body.
Do not forget to sow your seed in the fertile ground and you will reap the harvest.When you pray for others God will cause others to pray for you.When you bless others God will raise others to bless you.Abraham’s blessing: “I will bless those who bless you and will curse those who curse you nad in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.” (Genesis 12:3) paints a picture of ministry covenants that he servant of God have.Therefore we must be carefull how we treat them lest we find ourselves in curses instead of blessings.Paul knew that when believers in the churches pray for him,his ministry would succeed.
To the Corithians he expressed his confidence:
2 Corinthians 1:10 .He has delivered us from such a deadly peril,and he will deliver us,On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us,11.as you help us by your prayers.Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favour granted us in answer to the prayers of many .To the Philippians he admonished them:Phil.1:19.for I know that through your prayers and help given by the spirit of Jesus Christ,what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance .To the collosians he appealed to them Col.4:2.Devote yourselves to prayer,being watchful and thankful.3 .And pray for us,too,that God may open a door for our message,so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ,for which I’m in chains.
