Before the first  kenya festival and church in kenya regionalempowerment  and unity forums the nationof kenya was going through many setbacks such as

ü

üCrime rate had gone up in the city and the villages.
ü schools and colleges students strikes.
üChurches and church leaders division because of partisan politics infiltrated in   the church during the elections
üNational  tribal divisions because of post election violence.
üNational drought which had been declared  a national disaster.
üWater and power rationing due to the low level of dams and lakes.
üNationwide hunger.
üDivision and collapse of Pastors fellowships.
üNational Economic downfall
Through national media and church ini kenya reginaol forums and through the pastors fellowships which had been established and restored to pray for this needs. It was an historic unity that brought the whole nation to prayer across all denomonations that culminated to a procession the city of Nairobi. The last leg saw us do aprocession from the four city gates:-North,South,east and west declaring the Lordship of Christ in the city and Nation”God Bless Kenya”  that ended in uhuru park with prophetic prayer by the spiritual fathers and the church. This function was graced by the nairobi P.C Mr Njoroge ,Professor Nathan  Kahara and Dr. Joe akech. The first sign of hope was a rainy cloud that covered the entire city as a sign of Gods answer to prayer and the rain fell on the last day of the Kenya festival.Glory to God for many other things that happened some of them icluded:-

·
Bonding of  the major principals in the government.
·Unusual heavy rains .
·Excess of food harvest even on the regions that never had an harvest of food crops.
·End of power and water rationing seven days after the end of the Kenya Fetival.
·Restoration and establishment of new pastors fellowship.
·Nationwide economic growth.
·Leaders and members of militia groups coming to christ therefore bringing an end to insecurity in the country.
·End of drought which has brought about restoration of vegetation and food for both domestic  and wild animals.
