Service Departments
DEFINED ROLES AND DUTIES

USHERING -  CRUSADE
·Collecting offering at the crusade grounds.
·Ensure all offering bags are accounted for at end of crusade.

USHERING  - CONFERENCE
·Ensure all people are seated in designated places.
·Help collect offering during the services.
·Ensure all offering bags are accounted for.

COUNSELORS
·Counsel new believers during and after the conference and crusade.
·Follow up new converts.
·Get ALL necessary information about new converts.
·Give follow up material.
·Encourage them to stand.

SECURITY
·Work in conjunction with the designated security firm.
·Make sure atmosphere all around the grounds is safe.
·Handle stubborn persons interfering with the meeting.
·Handle paparazzi.
·Watch over cars parked.
·Ensure security of offerings collected.
·Provide security vehicles to transport offerings.
·Together with security team ( Police and security company) will enhance protection of property, equipments, persons, exhibition materials ETC.

PROTOCOL
·Be the face of the event by welcoming all visitors from the point of entry and handing them over to ushers in the sanctuary.
·Receiving and bidding farewell to dignitaries.
·Escorting and standing with new converts to the point of handing them over to counselors.

HOSPITALITY
·Attend discreetly to personal needs of dignitaries and delegates e.g giving water, showing to the bathrooms e.t.c
·Provide water , glasses, serviettes, props  e.t.c during services.

MEDICAL SERVICES
·Giving first aid and other medical needs that may arise.
·Help in times of testimonies (Medical terms of diseases) and for healing by verifying tangible testimonies e.g Growths disappearing e.t.c.
·Play close attention especially to children.

CROWD CONTROL UNIT
·Keeping the crowd calm in case of a frenzied moment.
·Ensuring loiterers are not allowed in the premises.
·Watching children in bouncing castles so they don’t disappear. N.B: Parents leaving their children at bouncing castles or food courts need a tag for every child.

PARKING ATTENDANTS
·Valet for dignitaries.
·Guide on where to park.

STEWARDS
·Take over from collection point from ushers.
·Count and account for all offering and keep clean records.
·Make sure all monies are banked.

SECRETARIAT
·Ensure all delegates are registered.
·Badges given to all service group members.
·Provide valid and necessary information at all times to delegates / dignitaries.
·Smiling face of the whole event.

EXHIBITION
·Make sure every exhibitor has a valid contract.
·Ensure all exhibitors are at their designated places.
·Work closely with exhibitors to make sure everyone has what they need from us.
·Make sure no one extends their time as paid for. Raise Money by sourcing for exhibitors for Thursday, Friday, Sat  and Sunday as per exhibition plan Nationally and internationally
·Coordinate the setting up of exhibition tents ,tables and security of the same
· Ensure no exhibits contrary to the environment finds its way e.g Pornographic movies, drugs, illicit brews e.t.c
·Liaise with technical dept. so that power supply is distributed to exhibitors.

TRANSPORT
·Ensure transport is available for delegates to and from the place they stay.

ACCOMMODATION
·Escort dignitaries to their places of stay.
·Make sure all delegates have duly paid for their stay.

MEDIA / PUB RELATIONS
·Cover adverts in all media outlets.
·Create good rapport with corporate clients and media houses.
·Media interviews before and during the event
·Organize and manage the branding and media coverage management of the entire event.
·Mobilize for sponsorships and barter packages with Media houses.
·Branding

PUB RELATIONS - IN HOUSE
·Make sure fliers are distributed according to plan.
·Follow up for feedback.

DISTRIBUTION OF FLIERS
·Make sure fliers are distributed according to plan.

TECHNICAL - ELECTRICAL
·Keeping track of power supply.
·Ensure back-up power is constantly available.
·Make sure ALL power areas are fully supplied at all times. i.e Exhibitors’ lights and sockets, Night lights e.t.c.
·Have stand by electricians in major positions throughout the event.
·Have all necessary equipment set up at least 2 hours before event especially the final crusade.

TECHNICAL - SOUND
·Make sure all sound equipment is available throughout i.e Mics, Cables, e.t.c.
·Do a sound check daily at least 1 hour before main events begin.
·Make sure all sound equipment are properly kept and cared for.
·Make sure batteries are ALWAYS available (Cordless mics)
·Have at least 2 technicians man the P/A system at any one time.
·Avoid ANY embarrassment e.g the speaker’s mic being off when he begins to speak or an artistes disc won’t play or  playing the wrong track e.t.c.

TECHNICAL - VIDEO
·Make sure all video recording machines are ready before every service.
·Have all relevant material needed for video recording and duplication e.g blank DVDs, cameras e.t.c
·Have cables ready and camera batteries fully charged well before event begins.
·Duplicate on order and give good service to avoid frustrating clients.

TECHNICAL - AUDIO
·Make sure all tape / Audio CD recording machines are ready before every service.
·Have all relevant material needed for audio recording and duplication e.g blank CDs, Tapes e.t.c
·Have cables ready and machines fully tested well before event begins.
·Duplicate on order and give good service to avoid frustrating clients.

SALES - IN-HOUSE
·Collect material from Technical dept. for sale.
·Sell and account for all material received.
·Sell material from J.B.A
·Close account daily, hand over and make sure all monies are banked with stewards.

SALES - GUESTS
·Make sure materials from guests / dignitaries, are collected, accounted for and proper records kept of items  whether cash received or number of items sold.(Books, Tapes, e.t.c)
·Should NOT at any time be mixed with in-house material to avoid confusion.
·Close account daily, hand over and make sure all monies are banked with stewards.

PROGRAMME MANAGER
·Make sure program is well run.
·Confirm with all speakers at least 2 hours before their scheduled time.
·Make sure time is well managed.

DECORATION
·Keep the place looking beautiful
·Getting rid of withered flowers.
·Changing drapes when necessary.
·Beautify the Crusade with Kenyan colors.

SANCTUARY KEEPING
·Keeping the place clean daily.
·Making sure seats are well arranged every day and between sessions.
·Making sure all seats are accounted for at the end of the event, even if any are broken.
·Manage lost and found items.
·Ensure proper sanitation especially for dignitaries. (Toilet paper, Handwashing soap, lotion, airfreshner e.t.c)

MUSIC
·To Minister in Praise and Worship sessions in the Devotion session , between sessions, breaks, lunches and special ministrations Tue to Friday
·To run the praise-a-thon Friday Night session
·Minister in praise and worship during the crusade

Fund raising Committee
·Mobilize the raising of funds from friends, Churches, Sponsorships, Exhibitions, N.G.Os, Sales of Branded Materials  e.g  T-SHIRTS, PENS, Note pads, Hats, Umbrellas.
·Before the event through the Dinner on 14th August K.I.C.C and During the event
