Spiritual Empowerment
Spiritual intensity of the Kingdom of God Grows in every nation through the unity of the Church. The early church was together in birthing and sustaining revival, They were in one accord on the day of Pentecost in prayer in the out pouring of the holy spirit (Act Chpt 2) They were in One accord in Prayer during persecution and they were filled with the holy spirit again and strengthened. They were in unity in Apostles doctrines, breaking bread eating together and sharing Holy Communion.
The spiritual Empowerment department mandate is to enhance this unity in the church in Kenya by information and organizing various forums such as
1)Mobilizing national prayer- Annually we have a 40 day national prayer and fasting calendar where believers and church leaders in every province take a day to pray for the other ministries, church, Nation, other Nations and ministries in the nation and International.
TESTIMONY The first National prayer 40 day fast where we printed and mobilized over 40,000 churches was after the post election violence and the nation was in hunger and draught disaster with a lot of National divisions and tensions in 2009. As we were finishing the fast in the Historic Kenya festival and doing a prayer procession from the 4 corners of the city the rain fell after and continued to fall and great things happened.
üWater filled the hydro-electricity dams and power rationing ended
ü Water filled all the water supply dams and water rationing came to an end.
üThe greatest harvest that we had not seen came ( In the media reports of farmers pouring excess milk, food beyond what granaries could handle were reported)
üNational political differences stabilized in the coalition government
üEconomy of Kenya Started rising due to more foods, tourists, major investors and developments
üBig gangs sects that had threatened the peace of the nation begun to receive Christ and peace in the towns and cities
To God be the Glory for hearing the prayers of a united church and nation through the fulfillment of scripture promises “Where brethren dwell together in unity is God commands his blessings and life” Ps 133. Through your annual participation and support of the national and regional prayer force much will be fulfilled.
